Grow your own healthy and delicious sprouts right on your kitchen counter in Mason jars with the Bean Screen. The Bean Screen screws onto the mouth of wide mouth Mason jars and provides an anti-roll feature via the faceted sides, preventing the jar from rolling off counter tops. The Bean Screen also has pegs so the jar can be left upside down for optimal drainage. Learn more about how to grow sprouts in the video below.
I've been using bean screens for a year and find that they do a better job than metal screens at keeping sprouts dry and fresh. The only drawback is that broccoli seeds are small enough to get stuck in the screen holes the first day or two, but most of them wash out with little effort. I like the screens enough that I'm giving a set to my parents.
Of all my experiences sprouting, using these lids, by far, made the experience so much more enjoyable. My sprouting stacks were easy to use but somewhat cumbersome. My sprouting screens used my beloved canning jars but it was cumbersome keeping them on an angle on the countertop. The bean sprouting lids allow good water drainage in the upright position and good air flow laying on its side. Try them, I do not think you will be disappointed!
They work great and are easy to use. We are using them and enjoying the sprouts.
I am completely happy with them and will probably be buying two more soon.
Excellent service and product
