Mason Jars are the perfect vessel for growing Bean Sprouts because their clear walls allow for light to easily pass through and they can be sterilized in the dishwasher between sprouting batches. The Bean Screen screws onto the mouth of wide mouth Mason jars and provides an anti-roll feature via the faceted sides, preventing the jar from rolling off counter tops. This has been a great introduction into sprouting and the kids have really enjoyed watching them grow. Only mild complaint is the holes were big enough to lose some of the smaller seeds that came with the kit during the first few days of rinsing, after sprouting started it was a none issue. But with anything larger than the small I believe it was broccoli seeds it is absolutely amazing.
