Water Kefir is a delicious fermented drink that is made with a simple sugar-water solution and water kefir grains. Water kefir is rich in probiotics and after the fermentation period, is low in sugar. The taste is tangy and mildly sweet, but it can be flavored in any way with juice, fruit and herbs. Water kefir is often compared to kombucha, but unlike kombucha it is caffeine-free and has a more mild taste.

These are the nicest ones I have seen - so much better than what I was using before
I have been doing water kefir and it is so easy with this tops!
Try them you just pour out the kefir and when it's ready, spill the water through the top and the granules or nodules remain in the pot. You don't need to change a pot or a strainer. Also the double cover opens up to let the gas out. It is perfect!
I just began using them today. I received them a few days ago, but I had to get a widemouth jar first. Since it's practically impossible to just buy two widemouth 32 oz jars, I now have 10 more than I need.
There was an issue with my original order, but Masontops was very responsive and sent out a replacement right away, so 5/5 for customer service.
I look forward to using the different feature of these lids, which appear very well thought out. I would just have preferred to order these in the regular mouth size.
Durable and useful
I use these for fermenting water kefir. I won’t go back to my old method!
