Cooking Fermented Vegetables

Cooking your ferments is a delicious way to enjoy them, but high temperatures will kill the good bacteria in the ferment, which may be what got you interested in fermenting in the first place! If you have excess fermented food or are okay with compromising the probiotics, there are a number of delicious ways you can enjoy cooked fermented foods. There’s also a “heat threshold” you can stay within to preserve the bacteria while enjoying a warm meal.
