Unlike unsightly fly tape that leaves dead flies in plain sight, the Trap Cap on a Mason jar looks like any household item and won’t draw attention to the pests when visitors arrive. It’s simple, clean and effective.
Seems to be working just fine. I put the Trap Cap lid on a small jar near the kitchen compost bowl that is emptied into the outside compost bin everyday. There seems to be less little flies.
I set 2 different types of fruit fly catchers side by side with apple cider vinegar in both. The Masontops fruit fly catching lid has trapped more fruit flies than the one sitting beside it. Highly recommend.
Works great! And more attractive than my contraption.
