Making homemade almond milk is easier than you might think. All you need is a blender, a nut milk bag or fine mesh strainer, and a few simple ingredients. Soak some raw almonds in water overnight, blend them with water until smooth, strain out the almond meal, and you're left with a tasty and nutritious milk alternative.
Not a fan of plain almond milk? Add a touch of sweetness with honey, maple syrup, or agave nectar. Or, mix in some vanilla extract or cocoa powder for a flavored twist. The possibilities are endless with homemade almond milk.

Homemade Almond Milk
Ingredients:
✔️ 1 cup raw unsalted almonds
✔️ 4 cups filtered water + 2 cups for soaking almonds
✔️ 1 tbsp maple syrup
Instructions:
❶ Place almonds in a bowl and add 2 cups of filtered water over it. Let it sit on the kitchen counter overnight (8-12hours).
❷ After soaking, strain your almonds and rinse under cold water.
❸ Place rinsed almonds in your blender (must be high-powered blender).
❹ Pour 4 cups of water.
❺ Add maple syrup (you could also add pure vanilla extract, cinnamon, dates or any other flavourings you like).
❻ Start blending it on a slow speed and then slowly increase to high speed. This process should take about 45 second to a minute (depending on your blender).
❼ Strain with cheese cloth or fine mesh strainer to a large bowl.
❽ Pour the milk into a Mason Jar, put the Multi Top Lid on (it's airtight + easy to pour your milk when you use it).
❾ Store in the fridge (for up to 3-4 days) & enjoy! ✨
